Part of the 2014 Warbirds over Monroe air show was a reenactment of the attack on Pearl Harbor. A day which will live in infamy and never be forgotten thanks to the CAF.

Woke up at 3:00am this morning and there it was; a perfect full moon and not a cloud in the sky. So, who needs sleep when you can setup you tripod and camera gear in front of your house at 3:00am? In your bath robe.
This was taken with my Nikon D810 and the 200-400 F 4.0 lens at 400mm.
Halloween may be over but the treats will haunt you for a long time...
Just finished setting up my studio in Charlotte and this was shot during my first session.

Last night was race night in Hickory NC and I had a chance to capture some NASCAR action. The car number 9 is William Byron who competed in the NWAAS Late Model race. He started in pole and took home the victory. Congratulations William.

The end of a beautiful day in the mountains of North Carolina. Although clouds add texture to a sunset, a cloudless sky can display a beautiful gradient of oranges. The light seems so fragile, it will only last a moment.

Spend Sunday at the Tripple Tree Thermal Duration glider contest at the Tripple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff South Carolina. It was challenging and fun shooting the dynamic winch launches and precision landings.
