First attempt at shooting products in the studio. It is quiet challenging to get the light just right and to eliminate unwanted reflections. I think I like this kind of photography.
This is a shot of a RC airplane during an acrobatic routine at York County Fliers.
This time of the year, I'm always ready to go to the beach (and stay there).

Woke up at 3:00am this morning and there it was; a perfect full moon and not a cloud in the sky. So, who needs sleep when you can setup you tripod and camera gear in front of your house at 3:00am? In your bath robe.
This was taken with my Nikon D810 and the 200-400 F 4.0 lens at 400mm.
Halloween may be over but the treats will haunt you for a long time...
Just finished setting up my studio in Charlotte and this was shot during my first session.
Looking forward to learning a lot about light.
Last night was race night in Hickory NC and I had a chance to capture some NASCAR action. The car number 9 is William Byron who competed in the NWAAS Late Model race. He started in pole and took home the victory. Congratulations William.
More pictures will follow soon.
The end of a beautiful day in the mountains of North Carolina. Although clouds add texture to a sunset, a cloudless sky can display a beautiful gradient of oranges. The light seems so fragile, it will only last a moment.
Aviation photography? Sports photography? Both???
Spend Sunday at the Tripple Tree Thermal Duration glider contest at the Tripple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff South Carolina. It was challenging and fun shooting the dynamic winch launches and precision landings.
Come see my full coverage of the event at 2014 Triple Tree Does TD.
One of the countless breathtaking views of this magnificent place, Canyonlands National Park
I had a brief moment to take this panoramic shot without tourists. A special place, worth the effort to visit.
Iconic view of Monument Vally. I could spend days in this location. Maybe I will...
Had a chance to visit the Southwest this year. This is a panoramic shot of Spider Rock at Canyon de Chelly National Monument
